New York Fashion Week

NYFW SS14 has been in full swing this past week, so I thought I would share some of my favourites.
I always find NYFW very hit and miss, mostly miss to be honest as I don't know what is about American designers but most of just doesn't interest me. I think it must be my personal style choices and what I prefer but this year I've had a few stand out favourites.

 Jeremy Scott
Always my first catwalk to checkout, Jeremy didn't fail to bring the fun once again. A mix of two pieces, PVC and 60's beehives these attention grabbing garments are sure to be a big hit.

Thom Browne
My all time favourite. Over the top textures and models in restrictive bodices and skirts. Mainly all white ensembles and smeared make up representative of an insane asylums take on fashion. Very excited to see how the high street interpret this look.

Cushnie Et Ochs
In my mind the most 'ready to wear' catwalk show out there any of these pieces could be seen straight on the body. Sexy daring cut outs and a mainly monochrome colour scheme made this a firm favourite in my mind. I can totally see the likes of Zara and Topshop bringing out their versions of these pieces.

Taking a peek into all these shows has got me super excited to see what LFW brings this year!
